History
Remo Falconieri, a typewriter designer, founded Cieck in 1985 after studying sparkling-wine methods in France.
The estate focuses on Erbaluce, the historic white grape of the Canavese.
Falconieri's daughter Lia and agronomist Domenico Caretto run it today; the sparkling wine was named best in Italy in 2006.
