Cantine Sant'Agata, of the Cavallero family at Scurzolengo, took its name from a votive shrine to Sant'Agata before the winery.

Franco Cavallero's father planted Ruche early, and the estate is now a leading name of the tiny Ruche di Castagnole Monferrato, with its 'Na Vota.
