History

Cantina di Casorzo was founded in 1951 by Monferrato growers; some 45 members pool their fruit from around 200 hectares under a dozen denominations.

Its flagship is the sweet, sparkling red Malvasia di Casorzo, DOC since 1968, one of Italy's earliest, alongside Barbera, Grignolino and Cortese of the Alto Monferrato.
