History
Cantina della Serra was founded on 10 May 1953 by 99 growers from Piverone, an initiative encouraged by industrialist and sociologist Adriano Olivetti's vision of balancing industry and agriculture in the area. Membership grew rapidly, reaching over 1,000 growers by the early 1960s and making it one of northern Piedmont's most significant cooperative cellars.
Sitting at the heart of Europe's largest morainic vineyard, the cooperative has focused for more than seventy years on Erbaluce in its still, sparkling and passito styles, alongside Nebbiolo and Canavese reds.
