History

The Rocca family has been in Barbaresco since 1834. In 1958 Bruno's grandfather Francesco moved the family to the Rabajà hill — Barbaresco's most prestigious cru — buying its vineyard and farmhouse.

In 1978 Bruno Rocca changed the family's course by beginning to bottle under his own name.

Today his children Luisa and Francesco work alongside him, farming organically; the estate is centred on Rabajà, with a plot in the Currà cru at Neive added in 2001.
