History
Bernardo Accomo bought a farmhouse with about 5 hectares on the steep Maiolica hill at Diano d'Alba in 1928, planted chiefly to Dolcetto; Barbera followed in 1930.
His grandson Giuseppe began planting Nebbiolo in 1950 for more structured, age-worthy wines.
Now in its fourth generation, the estate merged the Casa Castella and Bricco Maiolica holdings after the marriage of Claudia and Beppe Accomo in 2013 and farms about 24 hectares.
