History
Bric Cenciurio was founded in 1990 when Franco Pittatore and his brother-in-law Carlo Sacchetto merged their properties in Barolo and the Roero to make traditional wines. Franco died while working in the vineyard just two years later.
The winery, based in the village of Barolo, is now run by Franco's sons Alessandro and Alberto Pittatore together with their mother Fiorella and uncle Carlo Sacchetto.
Its 15 hectares span three communes, and it makes two single-vineyard Barolos — Coste di Rose and Monrobiolo di Bussia — both in the Barolo commune.
