History
The Boroli family have been entrepreneurs since the 19th century, first in textiles and then in publishing. In the 1990s Silvano and Elena Boroli sought to reconnect with the land, and in 1997 the family began producing wine in the Langhe.
The estate is built around Cascina La Brunella at Castiglione Falletto — a vineyard documented since the 1600s — with further holdings at Borgata Cerequio in the commune of Barolo.
Boroli makes Barolo from these sites, including micro-vinifications of the Villero and Cerequio crus.
