History
Bonzano Vini is a family estate at the early-19th-century Tenuta Mandoletta, in the Monferrato Casalese hills near Casale Monferrato, bought by the Bonzano family in the 1990s.
Brothers Enrico, Stefano and Massimo Bonzano, with Simonetta Ghia, replanted about 20 hectares from 2011 and launched the winery with oenologist Donato Lanati.
The range of some seven wines, most with Monferrato-dialect names, centres on the local Grignolino and Barbera del Monferrato alongside Pinot Nero, at around 100,000 bottles a year.
