History
The Viberti family's Cascina Ballarin at La Morra, built in 1928 and turned into a winery in 1985 by Luigi Viberti and his sons Giorgio and Giovanni, was divided after thirty years of shared work.
From that split, in 2022, the young winemaker Alberto Ballarin launched his own estate under the family's historic 'Ballarin' name.
It works parcels in Bricco Rocca and Boiolo at La Morra and in Bussia at Monforte d'Alba, one of the first crus officially recognised in 1961.
