History

The Adriano family's roots go back to the early 1900s, when Giuseppe and Teresa Adriano were tenant farmers; their son Aldo bought the family's first land, and in 1968 invested everything in a plot at San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, near Alba.

Aldo's sons Marco and Vittorio, with their wives Luciana and Grazia, joined in the 1990s and began bottling the family's own wine in 1994, expanding into export markets.

The estate makes Barbaresco, including from the Basarin cru at Neive, vinifying only its own grapes.
