History

Cantina Cliternia was founded in 1972 by an association of 75 Molise farmers working around 150 hectares, near the site of the ancient Cliternium on the Adriatic coast at Campomarino.

Now a cooperative of about 150 members, it ages its wines in large oak and bottles a Biferno DOC and Molise DOC range, led by its 'Trabucco' line.
