History
Tenute Murola is a family estate at Urbisaglia, in the inland hills of the Colli Maceratesi, on land the Bonati-Mosiewicz family — settled here from Loro Piceno since the mid-seventeenth century — has owned for about three hundred years, once part of the historic Fiastra Abbey.
Founded in 2004 by the four Mosiewicz brothers, the estate planted vines on its best plots from 2003 (first vintage 2006) and today farms some sixty-two hectares of a five-hundred-hectare property, championing the local Ribona of the Macerata hills in both still and sparkling versions.
