History
The Petrini family has farmed Tenuta dell'Ugolino at Castelplanio since 1980, with Andrea bottling the first wine in 1993.
With his stepson Matteo he converted the fourteen hectares to organic, certified in 2020, making Verdicchio cru such as Le Piaole and Balluccio.
