History

Founded in the late 1960s in the Castelli di Jesi, Montecappone was bought in 1997 by the Bomprezzi-Mirizzi family, owners of the Enoteca Tuscolana in Rome.

The family renovated and expanded the winery and made it a Verdicchio specialist, among the first in the zone to vinify whites without oxygen.
