Lacrima di Morro o Lacrima di Morro d'Alba DOC

History

The estate grew out of the work of Armando Lucchetti, among the first to graft the local Lacrima vine; his son Mario planted the first hectares of Lacrima di Morro d'Alba in the 1980s, when the denomination was young.

Today the winery farms 25 hectares of Lacrima and Verdicchio at Morro d'Alba, the heart of Lacrima country, with Mario's son Paolo, an enologist, now working alongside him.
