History
Raffaele Vagnoni bought land at the Ripatransone locality of le caniette in 1897 and, from the 1960s, converted it to vineyard.
In 1990 the first Rosso Piceno was bottled under the Le Caniette name when his son Giovanni joined.
The family farms organically, working native Piceno grapes.
