History

Corrado Dottori, a Bocconi economics graduate, left Milan in 1999 with his partner Valeria Bochi to relaunch his family's Cupramontana estate, founding La Distesa in 2000.

The land was bought by his grandfather Domenico in 1945 and passed to his father Nazareno 'Neno' Dottori.

Farming organically and making natural wines by hand, they work the San Michele cru, a grand cru of Cupramontana.
