History
Founded in 1861, the estate lies on the Focara promontory in the Monte San Bartolo park near Pesaro.
Pinot Noir was brought to the area under the Napoleonic administration in the early 19th century; the local clone was registered as Pinot Nero Pesaro in 2001.
The quality of the site was recognised in 2000 with the Colli Pesaresi Focara Pinot Nero designation.
