History
Conventino Monteciccardo is an organic estate with cellar and oil mill on the gentle hills of Monteciccardo, near Pesaro, run by the Marcantoni family since 2003. It takes its name from the neighbouring convent of the Servi di Maria, built in the 1500s, with its church and bell tower.
Guided by Egidio Marcantoni alongside his son Mattia, the estate works mainly native grapes — Bianchello del Metauro, Famoso, Incrocio Bruni 54 and Sangiovese — farmed organically to the rhythm of the seasons, with its Bianchello 'Brecce di Tufo' among the wines.
