History

Giovanni Carminucci founded the winery at Grottammare in 1928; his son Piero turned it toward estate quality, and from 1999 they bottle from their own vineyards.

Over about forty-five hectares of the Piceno they make the Rosso Piceno, such as Grotte sul Mare, and the Offida whites.
