Boccafosca grew from a group of friends of the Ancona hills into a maker of Verdicchio and other Marche wines, based near Ostra.

From about eighty hectares it makes the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, still and frizzante, with sales points at Ostra and Corinaldo.
