History

The farmstead at Torrazzetta has agricultural roots dating to the 1880s; in 1934 great-grandfather Giuseppe Fiori bought the Azienda Agricola Torrazzetta in the Oltrepò Pavese hills near Borgo Priolo.

In 1984 Franco and Gianna Fiori converted the estate to organic farming, making it the first fully organic winery in the Oltrepò Pavese, and opened an agriturismo the same year; the estate is now run by their children Paolo, Sergio and Giulia.
