Bruno Dotti founded San Cristoforo at Erbusco in 1992, and runs it with his wife Claudia and daughter Celeste.

From about ten hectares at Erbusco they make some eighty thousand bottles of Franciacorta, Brut, Millesimato, Pas Dose and Rose.
