History
Aldo Rainoldi began as a wine merchant at Chiuro in 1925, founding the Valtellina house that still bears his name.
His son Giuseppe joined in the second half of the 1950s, and at the end of the 1990s Giuseppe's grandson — also named Aldo — completed studies in viticulture and oenology and took the family tradition forward.
Rainoldi is known for its Valtellina Superiore from Sassella, Grumello and Inferno, and above all for the dried-grape Sforzato Cà Rizzieri.
