History
La Collina is an Invernici family estate at Grumello del Monte, in the Valcalepio hills between Lake Iseo and Lake Como, with roots going back to 1830 and more than 195 years of winegrowing.
Founded by Luigi Invernici, it is run today by Luigi and Sara Invernici across the fourth and fifth generations, keeping an artisanal, family approach to the wines.
Its work centres on Valcalepio, one of Italy's older DOCs (recognised 1976), whose reds blend Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon and whose whites come from Pinot Bianco and Chardonnay.
