History
Filippo Bettini bought the winery from Umberto I, King of Italy, on 16 March 1880; from 1881 his sons Giovanni, Giacomo, Pietro and Domenico began producing and selling Bettini wines at San Giacomo di Teglio.
Pietro Bettini built an important trade into neighbouring Switzerland at the turn of the century and passed the winery to his son Guido.
Today the fifth generation runs the house while the sixth learns the trade.
