History

The Panigada family has produced wine under the Banino label for three generations in San Colombano al Lambro, the only DOC wine zone within the Milano metropolitan area, alongside running a longstanding family delicatessen in the village center.

Grapes come exclusively from the family's own 5 hectares of vineyard across the La Merla, Baracca and Cà del Mazza sites, and the estate favors long, unhurried vinification and aging over chasing market trends.
