History

Colline della Stella was established in 1997 when the young Andrea Arici, working with his father, set about recovering long-abandoned terraced vineyards at Gussago.

The first Franciacorta came from the 2002 vintage, initially fewer than a thousand bottles.

The estate makes exclusively pas-dosé Franciacorta, prizing acidity and minerality.
