Antonella Pacchiarotti founded her estate at Grotte di Castro in 1998, working 3.5 hectares of Aleatico over Lake Bolsena.

She vinifies the grape mostly dry rather than sweet, some 10,000 numbered bottles, in a 17th-century tuff cellar.
