The estate was founded in the 1960s by Maria Elena Sinibaldi's maternal grandparents, Maria and Augusto, and later continued by her father Giuseppe before passing to Maria Elena.

Vineyards, winery and a tasting point sit in the Santa Maria di Pugliano countryside near Paliano, within the Piglio DOCG production territory; the estate is a member of the Consorzio Tutela Cesanese del Piglio.
