History
The Mergè family's winemaking on the Castelli Romani began in the early 20th century with Manlio Mergè; his son Luigi founded the structured winery in 1960, now run by the next generation.
On the Frascati and Monte Porzio Catone border, Casata Mergè works old vineyards for its Frascati, its identity wine the Frascati Superiore Riserva 'Sesto 21' from Malvasia Puntinata.
