History
The Proietti family began moving to natural farming in the 1980s, first organic and later biodynamic, drawing on Fukuoka's methods.
Cousins Daniele and Pierluca Proietti created the Abbia Nòva label in 2018 at Piglio, in a land of Roman and monastic history.
Cesanese d'Affile, grown here for over 400 years, anchors the Cesanese del Piglio DOCG.
