History

The Collarig family's estate, known as Crastin, began in the early 1950s as sharecroppers with 2.5 hectares; Sergio Collarig took over in 1980 and built it up.

It now works about 10 hectares on the hills of Ruttars, in the Collio of far-eastern Friuli, making the region's white and red varietals.
