History
Great-grandfather Michele Polencic planted the first vineyard around 1880, when Cormons was in the Austro-Hungarian Empire and its wines went to Vienna.
His son Ferdinando focused on quality and was among the founders of the Collio DOC consortium in the early 1970s.
Aldo Polencic has run the estate with full commitment since 2003, in the Plessiva locality of Cormons.
