History
The Sgorbati family, growers in the Val Tidone, became sole owners of the property in 1982; Enrico Sgorbati took over his grandfather's activity in 1992.
In 1998 he founded Torre Fornello — named after old kilns ('fornello') on the site, whose settlements date to the 1200s — restoring the rural complex and building a modern cellar.
Signatures include the Gutturnio Superiore 'Sinsäl' (Barbera-Croatina) and Malvasia 'Donna Luigia'.
