History
The Giacobazzi family had farmed and grown vines for generations before Angelo Giacobazzi, together with his son Antonio, expanded and formalized the family winery in 1958 at Nonantola.
By the mid-1960s the winery reached roughly 10,000 bottles a day, and from 1969 Antonio Giacobazzi began exporting Lambrusco to the United States and then the UK, building Giacobazzi into one of the names that carried Lambrusco internationally.
