Cantina della Volta

History

Cantina della Volta draws on a century of the Bellei family, winemakers at Bomporto di Modena since 1920; oenologist Christian Bellei, of the fourth generation, founded the winery in 2010 to devote himself to traditional-method sparkling wine.

After studying the Champagne method at Epernay, Christian and his father Giuseppe applied it to Lambrusco di Sorbara in the heart of its zone; two lines from 15 hectares yield about 130,000 bottles a year, including the acclaimed DDR metodo classico.
