The Isola estate has been in the Franceschini family since the late 1800s; Marco with his wife Paola and children Gian Luca and Claudia work the ten hectares today.

They make the Colli Bolognesi Pignoletto, still and frizzante, along with Riesling, Barbera and Cabernet.
