History

The Venditti family have farmed their masseria at Castelvenere since 1595; they turned organic in 1988 and stopped adding sulfites in 2013, keeping a teaching vineyard of twenty old varieties.

From about eleven hectares they make the Sannio wines, the Aglianico Riserva Marraioli, the Barbera Barbetta and the Falanghina del Sannio.
