History

The Loffredo family have grown vines in the Campi Flegrei since the 1800s; Gennaro planted the first modern vineyards in 1946, and Castrese terraced the slopes from 2004.

Under the Tenuta Loffredo name from 2017 they make a Falanghina and a Piedirosso of the volcanic craters, some 4,000 to 5,000 bottles.
