History

Giuseppe Pagano, a hotelier in the Paestum area, created San Salvatore 1988 in 2006, named for his firstborn son Salvatore (born 1988).

The estate was built around sustainability: biodynamic preparations and a photovoltaic-powered, zero-impact winery.

The wine range is made with the consultancy of oenologist Riccardo Cotarella.
