History

Porto di Mola was born in 1988 from an idea of Peppi Esposito and Antonio Capuano, who began working the volcanic land of Galluccio on the slopes of Roccamonfina, at the border of Lazio and Campania; the name recalls an ancient Roman trading port unearthed nearby in 1992.

Now carried on by Antimo Esposito, Peppi's son, the estate builds its wines on Falanghina and Aglianico alongside other native varieties, bottling under the Galluccio and Terre del Volturno denominations.
