Petilia was founded in 1999 by the Bruno siblings, led by Roberto and Teresa, in their home village of Altavilla Irpina.

Roberto, trained in physics, turned to winemaking and focuses on Greco di Tufo, while Teresa handles sales and marketing.

The estate built its vineyards and cellar from the ground up and now farms around 20 hectares.
