I Pentri

History

I Pentri takes its name from the ancient Samnite tribe that populated this part of Benevento. Dionisio, raised in Rome after studying law, chose in the late 1970s-early 2000s to return with his wife Lia to her family's land at Guardia Sanframondi, planting the estate's first labeled harvest in 2002.

The winery farms Falanghina, Aglianico, Fiano and Piedirosso organically and without added sulfites on some cuvees, working the traditional grape varieties of the Guardia Sanframondi zone.
