History
Fattoria Selvanova, on its namesake hill at Castel Campagnano in the Terre del Volturno, was established in 1995 as a 45-hectare organic farm; its wine project began in 1997 with Antonio Buono and, from 1998, was taken on by GESCO, a group of Campanian social enterprises that give work to people at risk of exclusion.
The estate farms around ten hectares of vineyard, planted between 1999 and 2002, to the local Pallagrello Bianco and Nero alongside Aglianico and Fiano, making organic, socially-minded wines and running an accredited educational farm.
