History
In 1647 Scipione di Marzo fled the plague from San Paolo Belsito and settled at Tufo, bringing the Greco di Nola vine.
Planted in the tufo soil, it became the Greco di Tufo; the estate has propagated its own vines ever since.
The winery was registered with the Avellino Chamber of Commerce in 1833, the oldest in Campania.
