History

Twenty-five growers of the Sannio founded the cooperative at Solopaca in 1966, one of the oldest and largest in Campania.

Its six hundred members work some eleven hundred hectares for about 3.7 million bottles; the Solopaca was the first Sannio wine to earn a DOC, in 1974.
