History
The Spadafora winery began in 1915 at Donnici, in the hills south of Cosenza, when Ippolito Spadafora traded the local farmers' bulk wines; his son Domenico built a cellar and started bottling in 1968.
Now in its fourth generation, the estate is a standard-bearer for Donnici and the Terre di Cosenza denomination, with its Magliocco-based 1915 and Arsura.
