History
Agrì Costa Viola is an agricultural cooperative founded in 2003 to reclaim and revalorize abandoned terraced land on the Costa Viola, the stretch of Tyrrhenian coast between Bagnara Calabra and Scilla famous for heroic, hand-worked viticulture.
The cooperative focuses on native varieties, chiefly the historic Zibibbo di Bagnara grown on ancient dry-stone terraces, producing white, red, dessert and sparkling wines including Gramà, Donna Caterina and Nero Aspromonte.
